So I finished my last exam today! YIPPYSKIPPY... okay I have a hard time being all that enthralled really, I have to work all holidays anyway. Not long hours but ... honestly, the misanthropy runs high around here at Christmas time, so it's hard to keep a smiling face without some kind of medicine to aid in that.

speaking of exams, I got my result for my history, law, and ethics final today and... I was like, "I.. what? Holy shit." because I got 100%. I totally wasn't expecting that one AT ALL but I am pleasantly surprised. The final I had today had a bit of a rocky true/false section which I didn't cover at ALL in my studying so my best chance was educated guesses, but it was a small part so hopefully it doesn't affect my overall exam grade too badly.

Also, today we went to go see my Baba in the care home. We being my sister Michelle, her two kids, and myself. And... you know, I don't think Michelle's a bad mom... she's a lot tougher on her kids and more responsible than almost every parent I've ever seen, but I think kids are just meant to have their break downs and tantrums no matter HOW good of a parent peoples are sometimes.

Lane, who is now... uh almost 4, had a total fucking meltdown because his brother Noah (almost 2) picked up a singing christmas card that belonged to Lane yet Lane had dropped it on the floor. Cue freakout and screaming and wailing and Michelle doing everything she can to get him to stop. Then he had this attitude for the rest of the visit where he wouldn't hug or say goodbye to Baba or Gido...

idk, I seem to recall some thing from psychology saying that kids before a certain age are just total selfish sociopaths and I believe it. And it's like okay, yeah I KNOW they grow up but... then you just have another person. I already hate people, why would I want to bring ANOTHER one into the world?

On that note, the subject of my childfreedom came up at work the other day... kind of by accident since I like to avoid talking about it since it tends to get people thinking I'm all kinds of some freak. Amazingly enough, everyone was totally respectful over the things I said--sadly it kind of blew my mind, I'm so used to some shit telling me "I'll change my mind" by this point that it took me by total surprise. One of the conversations went a little like this...

Me: [insert blahblahrant about a bratty kid who came through my till with his "parents"] "I would've slapped him across the face! ... and that's why I should never have kids."
Coworker dude: "Hey, at least you know you shouldn't have kids. There are many people out there who shouldn't have kids but just have them anyway--so good on you for not being one of those!"

So it's refreshing to hear those things from other peoples. It's no news that raising kids and being a parent requires absolute dedication, and if anyone is not prepared or even simply does not WANT to give that, they should not have the kid!

IN OTHER NEWS, I HAVE TOO MANY GAMES TO PLAY. THIS PART SHALL BE WRITTEN IN CAPSLOCK IN ORDER TO EMPHASIZE HOW MANY GAMES I HAVE TO PLAY AND HOW LITTLE TIME I HAVE TO PLAY THEM. AS OF RIGHT NOW THE LIST STANDS AT:

Dragon Age (need to finish)
Modern Warfare 2 (need to finish)
Tales of Vesperia (need to finish)
Mass Effect (need to finish)
Fallout 3 (need to finish)
Batman Arkham Asylum (need to start!)
Assassin's Creed II (need to start!)
Wet (need to start!)
Borderlands (want to play, dunno if I'll EVER GET TIME)
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 (*see Borderlands)

not to mention there's also Bayonetta coming out in like 2 weeks and then the beginning of February, both Bioshock 2 and Dante's Inferno (WHICH... by the way wins the ~*2009 Merulu Awards*~ for most ridiculous ad campaign ever) AND THEN FINAL FANTASY XIII AND ALAN WAKE AND I'M GOING TO FINISH MY EXERCISE IN FUTILITY ALSO KNOWN AS MW2 ON VETERAN NOW

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I got a 98% on my anatomy and physiology final at school! That brought my final course mark up to 96% so that's PREETY GEWD as far as I'm concerned, given my previous track record with this shite. Granted it wasn't super difficult McIntyre A&P but a small victory, all the same.

My final course marks for the year have thus far been 97% for computers stuffs, 98% for math, and 96% for A&P. I have another final tomorrow and another on Tuesday, but the tomorrow one is a pushover and Tuesday's... idk, probably not so bad either.

wtb gewd christmas fewds
